Speedhunters just posted this Willow Springs Redline Time Attack edit  on their site. It features some of my RED one footage from shooting the NFS Driver’s Film on Chris Rado and shooting the event. Be sure to look for my shot of Mike Essa and his LS powered FC kicking up a trail of dirt at 120fps.

Mr. Hobo Herron’s videos keep improving in style and quality with each release. I’m very excited to see what’s next when the Formula Drift series comes to the city of sin. Las Vegas and we get to shoot on Hobo’s home turf. So pumped. Nice work Josh.

NHRA Pomona was a busy weekend for us @ StreetFire.net – here is my most recent edit. Watch as Bob Tasca III explains burning out, staging, launching, and braking his 8,000hp Funny Car. 

Here is a quick edit I did for Streetfire.net from news market footage of the 2009 Geneva Auto Show. Some nice unveils, yeti, and concept cars of the future. What is your favorite car from the video? Lamborghini SV? Rolls Royce?

Efrain Olivares, who does public relations and management for Patrick Mordaunt, got me in touch with Genevieve Chappell and Velocity TV. They needed a camera operator/director of photography for a VARA race at Willow Spring back in November. Efrain was actually driving in the event and you can catch his interview towards the end of the video above. I frequently get to check out Willow for drift events, events like Subie Fest, and testing with drivers- but the VARA race was my first time filming vintage auto racing. Interestingly enough, some of my first exposure to racing was vintage racing in Pittsburgh, PA for the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix. With my dad at Schenley Park- taking in the car show and watching the “pickle cars” drive by on the street based track. Being able to see vintage racing again was special. 

Working with the Velocity TV crew was great. Thats why I’m posting this video, it was shot back in November 2008- came out really well. Cheers to everyone involved. 

A few weeks ago, I went with rikdaddy.com” target=”_blank”>Ricky Chu up to Cinema Vehicle Services in North Hollywood to shoot a video on the cars of the upcoming Fast and the Furious film. Here is my finished edit of the day with the cars and Fireball Tim. These cars were not the primary cars used in the film- but the stunt cars that took a beating to make the high speed action happen on film. Cropped to cinema widescreen to mimic the look of the official trailer and teasers for the Fast & Furious 4. Let me know what you think.
