<p>Sundance Resort, Utah.</p>
<p>The flight up to Utah went quick. Before I knew it I was in a rented Jeep Wrangler driving up to Brighton. No new snow for the weekend. Still able to dig up some powder underneath the trees.</p>
<p>Read More&#8230;</p>
<p><span id="more-818"></span></p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-827" title="chris" src="http://willroegge.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/chris.jpg" alt="chris" width="500" height="375" /></p>
<p>My Midwest surf homies &#8211; Chris Adams and Blake Bailey get set to ride @ Brighton. Love the gloves Chris.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-828" title="squatters" src="http://willroegge.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/squatters.jpg" alt="squatters" width="500" height="375" /></p>
<p>After a day of flying and dropping double black diamonds at Brighton &#8211; A Squatter&#8217;s meal and sampler was in order.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-823" title="030909-6" src="http://willroegge.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/030909-6.jpg" alt="030909-6" width="500" height="281" /></p>
<p>Sunday was off to Sundance. It was 4th time riding at the Sundance resort &#8211; Its so low key and the lift lines are shorter than anywhere else. The back bowl is one of the widest in any of the SLC area resorts. Plus the drive up and the scenery are worth the lift ticket price.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-822" title="030909-5" src="http://willroegge.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/030909-5.jpg" alt="030909-5" width="500" height="281" /></p>
<p>You can even hike some of the smaller peaks and drop in a pow pow gnar run of your own.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-821" title="030909-4" src="http://willroegge.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/030909-4.jpg" alt="030909-4" width="500" height="281" /></p>
<p>Only three lifts for the entire resort. The nice part is that the back two service the more advanced trails and never have lines.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-820" title="030909-3" src="http://willroegge.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/030909-3.jpg" alt="030909-3" width="281" height="500" /></p>
<p>View from the lift.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-831" title="wolftix" src="http://willroegge.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/wolftix.jpg" alt="wolftix" width="286" height="500" /></p>
<p> </p>
<p>Finally got the <a title="Free Gold Watch" href="http://www.freegoldwatch.com/" target="_blank">Free Gold Watch</a> &#8211; Wolf Ticket shirt. Quick processing and shipping from the <a title="The Giant Peach" href="http://www.thegiantpeach.com/" target="_blank">Giant Peach</a>. Check out San Francisco&#8217;s Free Gold Watch &#8211; this shirt is at least a year old and they have been using 3M reflective ink for a while. </p>
<p>Don&#8217;t sell Wolf Tickets. You know I want to go to the show.</p>

Lindy used to ski and wanted to learn how to snowboard- and I always want to snowboard. So we enjoyed the best snowboarding in Ohio at Boston Mills. Yes, Ohio does have ski resorts. I wouldn&#8217;t really call them &#8220;resorts&#8221; but they are the biggest hills with lifts and a grip of snowmaking equipment. You gotta make due with what you have&#8230; surf on Lake Erie, snowboard at a place where the lifts take longer than the runs, do work with what you got. <span id="more-404"></span><a href="http://willroegge.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/boston_mills.jpg"></a></p>
<p><a href="http://willroegge.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/boston_mills.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-405" title="boston_mills" src="http://willroegge.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/boston_mills.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="281" /></a></p>
<p>Lot of brown, little bit of white stuff. Not bad for 40 degrees outside though. </p>
<p><a href="http://willroegge.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/no_snow.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-409" title="no_snow" src="http://willroegge.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/no_snow.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="281" /></a></p>
<p>Machine groomed goodness.</p>
<p><a href="http://willroegge.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/lift_view.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-406" title="lift_view" src="http://willroegge.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/lift_view.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="281" /></a></p>
<p>View from the lift.</p>
<p><a style="text-decoration: none;" href="http://willroegge.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/the_source.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-410" style="text-decoration: underline;" title="the_source" src="http://willroegge.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/the_source.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="281" /></a></p>
<p>Snow-making.</p>
<p><a href="http://willroegge.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/lindy_sitting.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-408" title="lindy_sitting" src="http://willroegge.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/lindy_sitting.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="281" /></a></p>
<p>I think Lindy is laughing at that guy&#8217;s hat. </p>
<p><a href="http://willroegge.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/lindy_riding.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-407" title="lindy_riding" src="http://willroegge.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/lindy_riding.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="281" /></a></p>
<p>Holding that heel side edge. Not bad for my first time giving lessons. Just remember its a lot easier to fall on your butt than on your face&#8230;</p>
