Chris brought his waterproof Pentax camera. Which allowed us to shoot on the slopes and in the pool at the hotel- including underwater.

Sundance Resort, Utah.

The flight up to Utah went quick. Before I knew it I was in a rented Jeep Wrangler driving up to Brighton. No new snow for the weekend. Still able to dig up some powder underneath the trees.

After a day of flying and dropping double black diamonds at Brighton – A Squatter’s meal and sampler was in order.

Sunday was off to Sundance. It was 4th time riding at the Sundance resort – Its so low key and the lift lines are shorter than anywhere else. The back bowl is one of the widest in any of the SLC area resorts. Plus the drive up and the scenery are worth the lift ticket price.

You can even hike some of the smaller peaks and drop in a pow pow gnar run of your own.

Only three lifts for the entire resort. The nice part is that the back two service the more advanced trails and never have lines.

Lindy used to ski and wanted to learn how to snowboard- and I always want to snowboard. So we enjoyed the best snowboarding in Ohio at Boston Mills. Yes, Ohio does have ski resorts. I wouldn’t really call them “resorts” but they are the biggest hills with lifts and a grip of snowmaking equipment. You gotta make due with what you have… surf on Lake Erie, snowboard at a place where the lifts take longer than the runs, do work with what you got.

Lot of brown, little bit of white stuff. Not bad for 40 degrees outside though.
