Project: mix interview segments of professional drifter Chris Forsberg with footage from the 7 event Formula Drift season.

Role: Director, Co-Camera, Editor, Colorist. Additional camera by Joshua Herron. Music by Run Sheng.

Shot on the Canon 7D, Canon T2i, Contour POV, Panasonic HPX-170 & Panasonic HMC-150. Converted to Sony XDCAM HD422 50mb/s codec. Edited in Final Cut Pro. Graded in Magic Bullet Looks.

For this episode, we shot at 8th and ocean, little bit of beach volleyball and of course all of the action at the Miami Convention Center- with all of the cars @ HIN. Be sure to watch for the burberry jaguar, RC Nissan GT-R drift car, go go dancing, bikini contest, and all of the NOS energy drink your stomach can take! Corissa Furr did a nice job hosting and bookending the piece. But the real hero is the floor dolly spreader- you will see the smooth dolly shots and time lapses where the camera moves seamlessly through out the show- having the floor dolly makes covering a show much easier and much better looking!

Back in 2008, had to use that for my first post of 2009, I went to Miami with Joey Redmond and NOS to shoot an episode covering the HIN show. The teaser for my episode is now up on NOS’ YouTube page.
