Scion Racing – Scion Racing Year in Review 2009

Scion Racing has been up to big things in 2009. Two Scion Tc drift cars, numerous Tc time attack cars, and a wicked 2jz powered drag car.

To show the racing programs style and performance, they came to me to create a year in review video. Combining footage from the teams themselves + my own cinematography from Formula Drift Las Vegas + ADRL Virginia + add in a Scion soundtrack = a seven minute montage of Scion Racing’s best from 2009.

andy. - I love love LOVE the shot where Gushi's car rounds those cones with the light-streaked from the headlight. So sick!!!

Will - Thanks, I've wanted to try that effect in After Effects using motion trackers and a light emitter- to create a light trail from a car's headlights. A stationary, non-panning shot would work better. Glad you like it though.

Brandon Scarpelli - Will, you have such a fantastic way of capturing the perfect angles and putting emphasis on the coolest parts during your editing! Amazing job! I have yet to have the slightest bit of a complaint from any video you have ever done! Keep it up man....
