The Nation of GO tour rolled into Chandler, Arizona last night around midnight. We crashed at the Holiday Inn. The next morning, I fired off a few exposures. Still hooked on the Canon 14mm 2.8 L lens. It has such a gigantic field of view and the focus is simple over 3 feet away – which makes it ideal for low light wide photos – where focus and field of view are important. Similar to shooting action sports like snowboarding and skateboarding – where the action is sometimes best captured with a close-wide fisheye lens.
This first image was actually a mis-jump. I think it turned out to be my favorite image out of the set. Since I was in the start or compression of my jump barely off the bed – it appears that I’m walking on air. Floating above the bed.

Check back tomorrow for more Jumping On Beds with me as I continue to travel across the US.
