Texas is huge.
In case you didn’t realize it.
Its massive, its one big steak loving state. With miles and miles between anywhere you’d want to be- it has some really fast cars. Like this 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 tuned by Hennessey performance. John Hennessey, super nice guy, showed Ricky Chu and myself around his shop today. He also let us come out to the track with him and his crew to test their ZR700 tuning package with some slicks at MSR Houston. So “do yourself a flavor” and click below to see more of my photos from Texas.

Dallas airport, Texas. Our connecting flight got delayed a bit because of lightning storms in the area.

Dallas airport’s terminals are shaped like large C’s. Check out those ominous clouds.

This is Ricky’s anticipation for what’s coming up next…

Howdy, welcome to Texas. All you need now is a F-350 with a brush guard, some wranglers, killer belt buckle, and some boots.

Little bit of rain.

Lot a bit of rain. Stuck on the runway. Ready to be in Houston.

Some very cool looking decaying buildings. More to come.

I didn’t know there was a pool hall named after me in Texas!?

Super 8 and the fresh-maker.

Wide angle eyeball shot. No blue today, you know why.

Got to see my first ZR-1 in person- the plus is, it is a Hennessey tuned ZR-1 making over 700HP. And getting the 411 from the man himself.

The crew from Hennessey checks over the ZR-1 and waits for the drizzle to stop.

Checking the tire pressure. Using the v-box monitoring and recording system – see the camera on the roof…

This car is as mean and sounds as nasty as it looks. The readouts were showing speeds of over 140mph on the back straight at MSR. sickly.
Until the post for day three. stay classy. Happy Birthday Cherry Blossom Girl.
