Lasers light up the LA Forum and the stage as Metallica starts their 1.5 hour+ set. When Napster was still around, I used it to download music. Metallica was one of those bands. At that point, every high school garage rock band was playing Enter Sandman and For Whom the Bells Toll at the talent show. I was emailed a cease and desist letter from the band. (Need to find my old Yahoo account and dig that up). Enough about why I boycotted the band for a few years. Jump to last night, LA Forum, Metallica kills it with a very strong set that showed off some new material then jumped into the classics.
